I developed the fear of dying at a very young age, I can't remember why, I just do, to top it off, I knew I was going to hell for my sins. Just like children of that time, I knew I had quite a lot.
Fortunately someone close to me shared the TRUTH about death and dying and what the Bible says about it. The message was actually simple, summed up in one famous Bible verse, John 3:16 " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Simply put, once you accept Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and truly put your faith in Him, you have eternal life. Death loses its grip on you. Christ died and paid the penalty for all those who will accept Him.
Whew! What a relief! Me? A sinner? Accepted in heaven? I went about and tried to prove if this was true, honestly speaking I have read the Bible twice from cover to cover and I discovered the greatest thing of all, IT IS TRUE. Right now all I can say is, Thank you Lord, I will accept You and serve you all my life.
